The Riches of Christ Will Supply Your Needs

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Focus on Christ

What kind of needs do you have? The needs that tend to get our attention are health, financial, and difficult relationships. How do you respond? Do you panic, cry, pray or turn to others for help?

God will supply all your needs. He does not owe you anything, but you owe Him everything. Even so, He continues to be kind and supply your needs. He will not let His children go without help; but He will determine what kind of help, where it will come from, and when it will be delivered. He will give you what you need to continue to grow in Christ and depend on Him. Nothing Christ does for you will push you farther from Him. His purpose is to draw you closer to Him. 

Though you may not realize it, developing a deeper walk with Christ is your greatest need. It is a wonderful blessing when God supplies finances that are needed, but there is nothing greater than wet He provides His generous supply of love.

Focus on Self

Self wants to solve its own problems. Pride drives you to believe that you can do it yourself without the need for others. God knows better. He knows that you cannot supply your own needs. Without Christ, you can do nothing. You must learn to depend on Christ. Remember, “…His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness…” (2 Peter 1:3)
