Love Knows God

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God, He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:7-8

Focus on Christ

What does love mean to you? The bible helps you discover love that is not of this world. It is not human love; it is God himself. 

For the Christian, true love is God. God doesn’t love you because you have some special need or because you have special qualities. Love is His nature.

Obedience is key to experiencing the Love of God. As you obey Christ, God’s Love deepens within you. 

How do you learn to love others? You don’t! This love flows from God into your heart and mind. He fills you with His love so that you experience Him. 

Focus on Self

If you have ever tried to love someone you didn’t like, then you probably failed. If you walk with God, and experience His deep love, then you begin to recognize a new nature that cannot stop loving others.
