The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me in the morning by morning. He awakens my ear to hear as the learned. Isaiah 50:4

Focus on Christ

Remember those times when you were caught off guard with a situation?

Christ was never caught off guard. No matter what Christ faced while He was on earth, He had the right perspective. He was never confused, flustered, or disconnected from the wisdom from above. 

Waking day by day to the instruction of the Word gives you wisdom, confidence, and practical and godly principles for daily living. How do you receive speech that is instructed by God? By hearing from Him. There is no substitute for God’s Word.

If you desire wisdom, then you must spend determined, consistent, prayerful time talking in God’s Word.

Focus on Self

Self is so limited and carnal. It has so many weaknesses that it cannot instruct hurting people with complete truth. But in Christ, you have the Wisdom of God. Live in the Word, listen to Christ, and you will have a resource that will bless your life and those you influence.
